John of God: The Crimes of a Spiritual Healer Season 1

Tales of miracles lure thousands to João Teixeira de Faria's spiritual surgery facility in central Brazil. Some leave "healed," others forever scarred.

Profits and influence grow, as do the accusations, complicating Faria and his inner circle's plans to build an international brand and business.

Emboldened by the mounting charges against "John of God," survivors band together — and build a damning case against their abuser.

Faria's daughter shares her own terrible story of abuse and manipulation. "John of God" faces a reckoning while survivors try to move forward.
