Mirko Määttä moves in with his parents, Anne and Markku, in the apartment of his sick grandmother. The family decide to stay after the death of the grandmother, and Mirko quickly gets to know the other children in the neighborhood. What was supposed to be a normal summer holiday takes an unexpected turn when the neighbors son Kristian disappears without a trace.

E1Mirko and his family move to his mother's childhood home in Munkkivuori. When he arrives, the whole neighbourhood is deeply shocked by the recent disappearance of a young boy.
E2Mirko spends the night with his new friend Pete and his sister Heidi. The parents are behaving strangely - they want to keep the secrets out and the kids out of the basement.
E3Tragedy falls on Mirko's family when his grandmother dies, but Mirko continues to make friends with the other children.
E4While other friends are on holiday abroad, Mirko befriends Sampsa. Mirko's mother Anne seems to be hiding something from her husband that happened 20 years ago.
E5Heidi and her best friend Taina get into an argument about Mirko. As teenage romance flares up, friendships and marriages in the community begin to unravel.
E6Mirko's relationship with Olavi deepens; as does the rift between him and his mother Anne. Kaius tells Mirko that he has found a body in the woods.
E7Kaius follows the attempts of a children's detective club to find out what happened to a missing boy.
E8Mirko wants to show his friends the body in the woods, but it has disappeared. A house party is held at Pete and Heidi's, where Taina retreats to the bedroom with her crush.
E9Relations between Mirko's parents are still icy. Kari, the owner of a local hairdressing salon, becomes the object of suspicion for Mirko and her friends. Has history repeated itself in the suburbs?
E10Mysteries past and present will be solved. It's the end of summer and Mirko's family will be moving again.
