The Daily Show Season 31 Episode 110
October 1, 2026 - John Wilson
Jordan Klepper tackles the headlines as Trump celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month at the White House by inventing a brand-new stereotype, while Pete Hegseth purges the military of “beardos, weirdos, wimps, and radicals”, raising questions about half the cabinet. Josh Johnson reports live from the Pentagon with updates from Hegseth’s star-powered team studying the future of warfare. In "In My Opinion", Nick Offerman explores Gen Z’s tech problem: too much screen time and less sex, offset by a growing embrace of hobbies like pottery, birdwatching, and miniature collecting. Later, filmmaker John Wilson joins Klepper to discuss his documentary "The History of Concrete", finding beauty in the mundane, capturing an uninterrupted shot of Kim Kardashian, and what happens when you blow your budget on a creepy Roman wax museum. Klepper also pitches Wilson’s next documentary idea.
