The Daily Show Season 31 Episode 112
October 6, 2026 - Aaron Sorkin
Michael Kosta breaks down the GOP’s midterm struggles as Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton touts tearing down missing-child posters, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy nearly drops a child at a rally, and Trump focuses on red-dye diesel and daylight saving time instead of helping his party. Kosta also chats with Mordok the Clock Keeper (Grace Kuhlenschmidt) about the toll of changing clocks. Meanwhile, Jordan Klepper sits down with a January 6 insurrectionist demanding compensation for being the “victim.” Academy Award-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin joins Kosta to discuss writing and directing his new film, The Social Reckoning, revisiting Mark Zuckerberg as an antihero 16 years after The Social Network, balancing both creative roles, and how his intense writing habits once left him hospitalized with a broken nose.
